Stonewall History
Sacred Heart
Stonewall is a property with rich heritage. Originally, it was a Catholic church called Sacred Heart. Father Steidle lived at the property and oversaw it and other area Catholic churches for many years. In 1935, it survived a major flood in Elbert and was moved to the location that it's currently at. It operated as a Catholic church until the early 1960's. Since then it has been a mechanic shop and private residence.

Stonewall Now
Present Day
Stonewall will operate as a bed and breakfast. In addition, we hope to host small weddings that can hold up to 100 guests. In addition to the church chapel, we have reception and outdoor areas. We hope that this unique property and surrounding countryside will provide a quaint atmosphere.
